World Record: Longest Guitar Solo

On May 14th I had the pleasure of watching David Didonato break the world record for World's Longest Guitar solo. He started on May 13th and played throughout the night, for a total of 24 hours and 55 minutes, breaking the previous record of 24 hours and 17 minutes. Sadly, some people wanted to argue that it didn't count because he was allotted a 5 minute break an hour, and because the guitar solo didn't always sound pretty. Well, if I'm up for even 18 hours, and all i'm doing is laying in bed, pigging out on chocolate, watching a Bones marathon, I get loopy. I can't imagine what I'd be like after 24 hours of exerting energy. Go David. Let the naysayers give it a shot and see how well they do.
